SHROUD premieres this weekend!

Shannon Wettstein and I are in Iowa City, polishing up the piano concerto SHROUD with David Gompper and his ensemble at the Center for New Music. I couldn't be more pleased with how things are faring. The performance is this Sunday, so if you're in the neighborhood, please join us!

Tonight in LA...

The wasteLAnd concert series continues this evening with a program featuring Richard Barrett, Liza Lim, and the great Steven Takasugi.

Claire Chase at San Diego Museum of Art

The mercurial Claire Chase presented her evolving project Density 2036. Her performance was a masterclass in instrumental theater, and a feat of endurance given that the program was played without pause.
